5412. The Sinagoga de Santa Maria La Blanca in Toledo, Spain, was founded in 1203 and is located in the ancient Jewish quarter of the city. The white interior features graceful horseshoe arches, ornamental horizontal moldings, and a forest of pillars supporting capitals of enchanting filigree workmanship all in the Mudejar (Moorish) style.
