5306. Recently discovered archeological remains of a large pool near the site traditionally known as the “Pool of Siloam”. The finds on the site indicate that this pool was built in the 1st. C. BC to 1st. C. AD. According to the Gospel of John (John 9:1-11), it was at the Pool of Siloam that Jesus cured the blind man.
