4774. Establishment of kibutz Beith Yoseph in the Jezreel valley in year 1937. Like many other kibutzim between the years 1936-9, before the state of Israel, the system was called ‘Stockade and Tower’ settlement. These settlements went up in one day surprise operations assisted by hundreds of volunteers.
