4557-5 Medinet Habu

4557. MEDINET HABU – the mortuary temple built by Ramses III (1187-56 BC) in Thebes. This temple, which was also dedicated to the god Amon, is carved with religious scenes and portrayals of Ramses’ wars against the Libyans and the Sea Peoples.
