5560. Upper part of a stone vessel incised with two doves and the Hebrew word “Korban” which means Sacrifice, found in the excavations of Herodian Jerusalem, c. 1st. C. AD. The upside down drawn birds may be symbolic to the custom of sacrifice to celebrate the birth of a child or simmilar.
