5395 The Gabriel inscription

“5395. Hebrew inscription dating c. 1st. C. BC. written on one side of a 96 cm long stone slab. The text is a sort of literary-prophetic polemic with several references to the prophets of the Bible like Daniel, Micha and Gabriel. Special interest draws the part of the text that speaks of a Messiah who will rise from the dead after three days. The stone inscription, probably found near the Dead Sea in Jordan, is according to scholars a rare example of a stone with ink writing from the pre-Christian era, compared to a “Dead Sea scroll” in stone.”
