4959 Cylinder seal

4959 (32) Chalcedony Cylinder Seal, Southern Mesopotamia: Kassite Period,ca. 1359-1333 B.C. This seal which contains a heraldic scene of two winged, rampant bulls resting their forelegs upon a small tree with a round crown belonged to an official of the Kassite King Burnaburiash. ‘And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees, so that a palm-tree was between a cherub and a cherub…’ Ezekiel 41:18.
