217. The Temple Scroll is one of the longest of the Dead sea Scrolls, discovered in Qumran. The Hebrew text describes a Jewish temple which has never been built with the intention to say that this is the right temple which was revealed to Moses, together with detailed rules about sacrifices and Temple practices.
